Change of texture on coal tar picth accoding to heat treatment |
초록 |
The study observed changes in the texture of coal-tar pitch according to the heat treatment. Micro Carbon Micro Beads (MCMB) was generated at 400 oC and MCMB’s Size was increased with the reaction temperature rising. Chunk involving in MCMBs was extracted by using Tetrahydrofuran (THF). Extracted MCMBs was heat treated by 300 oC to remove the volatile matter. And then, carbon block was formed. Finally, after the carbon block was carbonized until 1200 oC, carbon blocks was analyzed. However, carbonized carbon blocks was swelled a little. This can find the reasons in that the existing reports show that the dry process and the pre-carbonization process were described together before the carbonization[6]. In other words, the dry process is important key to prevent the swelling. It is a basic study of high density artificial graphite. Research needs to be carried out in accordance with the dry process for MCMBs. |
