Study of self-adhesive carbon blocks based on MCMBs manufactured from coal tar pitch for high density carbon blocks |
초록 |
High-density and high-strength isotropic carbonized carbon blocks were developed through oxidative stabilization of MCMBs prepared from coal tar pitch. The swelling phenomenon was inhibited by increasing the aromatic carbon contents and the amount of volatile matter of low molecular weight was controlled. Thus, the optimum conditions for the improvement of mechanical properties were studied and analyzed. Effect of oxidation stabilization on mesophase pitch and carbon fiber and mechanisms have been reported several times. The oxidation process is used in the graphene process developed by Hummers. Although the oxidative process was implemented for effective exfoliation of GO, has a disadvantage that it is easy to restack during reduction at about 700-1000 oC due to a π-π interaction. |
