제목 | Multiomics based characterization of inhibition mechanism of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus by Lactobacillus isolates from infant stool |
초록 | As demands to control methicillin-resistant Staphylococcusaureus (MRSA) increase, approaches to inhibit the growth or to lower thevirulence using probiotics have been published. Nevertheless, it was reportedthat Lactobacillus species, one of the probiotic genera, haveantibacterial activity against MRSA, the molecular mechanism of anti-MRSA effectis unclear. In here, we screened the Lactobacillus strains with highMRSA inhibitory effect (L. gasseri HL20) and performed multiomics dataanalysis. As a results, it was observed that MRSA co-cultured with L.gasseri HL20 upregulate protein synthesis and downregulated various virulencefactors. In conclusion, multiomics approach revealed that the underlyingmechanism involved in anti-MRSA by lactobacillus was discovered. |
