제목 Energy Transfer in Polymerized Diacetylene-Oligothiophenes Cocrsytals
초록 The energy transfer mechanism by engineering cocrystals having well-ordered supramolecular architectures and conducting organic molecules has been widely accepted for devising molecular electronics. In this context, we have constructed highly fluorescent and polymerizable cocrystals of α-Oligothiophenes (nTs) encapsulated macrocyclic diacetylene (MCDA). The formation of orderly arranged MCDA and nTs cocrystal was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. The process of energy transfer between MCDA and nTs in the co-crystals was determined by performing UV-vis and fluorescence spectral studies. The fluorescence quenching of nTs as a result of UV-induced polymerization of self-assembled MCDA demonstrates the energy transfer process in the cocrystals.
