제목 | High-Coercivity Iron Oxide Magnetic Materials for Millimeter-Wave Absorption |
초록 | Epsilon hard ferrite (ε-Fe2O3) has recently attracted great attention due to its gigantic coercive field over 20 kOe. In addition, this magnetic material with a large coercive field (Hc) is expected to show a high-frequency resonance for electromagnetic (EM) waves in the millimeter wave range (30–300 GHz). However, ε-Fe2O3 is metastable phase that only developed under nanometer-sized confined conditions such as nanoparticles or nanocavities. However, the synthetic route has multiple and time-consuming procedures, thus, it is urgent to explore an effective and scalable preparation method . Herein, we report the simple and scalable method to prepare ε-Fe2O3 via a smart aerosol route. The strategy would pave the way for the industrial production of hard ferrite magnets for millimeter-wave absorption.
