제목 Ferromagnetic and ferroelectric properties in cellulose/Ni bilayer films
초록 Cellulose, which is easy to obtain in the Earth, has been reported as a piezoelectric material which can generate voltage as external mechanical force is applied. Recently, several studies related to magnetoelectric (ME) effect induced by materials which contain cellulose as piezoelectric (PE) phase have been reported. Though the composites can generate voltage by applied external bias magnetic field well, adhesive that cause an insufficient strain transfer between piezoelectric and magnetostrictive (MS) phases have still been demanded.
Herein, cellulose based ME composites were devised to eliminate hindrance from binder. Specifically, cellulose film was laminated with surface oxidized Ni foil without any adhesive. As a result, the composites exhibit strong adhesion presumed to be implemented by a hydrogen bond between PE and MS phases. Essentially, this phenomenon could affect to strain transfer and dipole alignment on cellulose film by the secondary bond between an interface
