High concentration (30wt%) CSW/nylon masterbatch by blending chitosan nanowhisker (CSW) with nylon 6,10 through a solution casting method in consideration of industrialization factors and achieving high dispersion efficiency was prepared, and then finally prepared as a nanocomposite of 0.3% by weight of chitosan nanowhisker compared to nylon through a melt blending method with a large amount of nylon 6,10. As an important study, the stirring time was changed to 24 hours, 1.5 hours, and 5 minutes in order to check the degree of damage to the CSW according to the stirring time with formic acid and the change in physical properties according to the stirring time with formic acid during the preparation of the master batch. The nanocomposite based on CSW/nylon masterbatch prepared by stirring for 1.5 hours showed better mechanical properties than other samples, which is considered to be less damaged by formic acid and well stirred. |
