제목 Simultaneous Plasma-Mechanofusion Treatment for Segregated Network Polymer Nanocomposite Reinforced with Graphene/Carbon Nanotube Hybrids
초록 Segregated network of conductive nanocarbons as an electron transport pathway within polymer matrix has been regarded as a rational structure for highly conductive polymer nanocomposites (PNC) with low percolation thresholds. However, the enhancement of mechanical properties of the PNC has hardly been reported, because the segregated structure is liable to generate microcracks/voids within matrix and thereby initiate fracture propagation. To solve the trade-off phenomenon, we herein propose a new mechanochemical approach to fabricate segregated network PNC with a highly reinforcing effect of graphene/multi-walled carbon nanotube hybrids. The details including simple plasma treatment combined with mechanofusion process of the constituents of the PNC will be presented in this conference.
