초록 | Since mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) rarelyundergo post-transplantative cardiomyogenic differentiation, ex vivo inductionof cardiomyogenic differentiation of before implantation would potentiatetherapeutic efficacy of stem cell therapies. In cardiac microenvironments,electric pulse and cyclic mechanical strain are sequentially produced. In thisstudy, we suggest a new platform composed of a stretchable piezoelectricsubstrate (SPS) that can provide pulsatile mechanoelectric cues (PMEC) tostimulate cardiomyogenic differentiation of MSCs ex vivo. Along with minimalchemical cue, MSCs underwent expression of cardiac markers by upregulation of autocrinefactor expression, focal adhesion kinase, and extracellular signal-regulatedkinases signaling pathways. |
