Influences of metal nitrates as a surface modifier on the performance of hybrid solar cells |
초록 |
Metal nitrates were introduced on the TiO2 surfaces by soaking the TiO2 films into an aqueous metal nitrate solution. The resulting electrodes were applied to the photoelectrodes of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The DSSC with the Zn(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrode exhibited a short-circuit current (Jsc) of 12.77 mA/cm2 and an open-circuit voltage (Voc) of 626 mV, compared with a Jsc of 12.06 mA/cm2 and Voc of 584 mV for a reference device with a pristine TiO2 electrode. In contrast to the Zn(NO3)2-modified TiO2 electrode, the power conversion efficiency of the device with Cu(NO3)2-modified TiO2 was sharply decreased, due to an increased interfacial charge recombination. |
