제목 Hot deformation behavior of Mg-Zn-Y alloys during multipass torsion testing
초록 In order to investigate SRX, MDRX and DRX behavior, multi-pass torsion test of as-cast Mg-Zn-Y alloys was implemented. The torsion test was performed with variations ; the temperature of 400-500℃, strain rate(/sec) of 0.05-5, interrupted time(sec) of 0.5-100 and pass strain of 0.25-2ε_p. Before torsion test, heat treatment at 300, 400, 500℃ for 6 hours had been carried out. The results show that the alloy with I-phase pre-heated at 300℃ exhibits lower SRX and DRX behavior and faster SRV and DRV behavior compared to alloy with W-phase pre-heated at 400℃ which is thought to be the low interface energy of I-phase. For quantitative comparison, the fraction of recrystallization is determined from the flow curve. The dependence of temperature and stain rate is additionally discussed.
