제목 1D vertically aligned TiO2 nanorod arrays for efficient quantum dot sensitized solar cells
초록 In present investigation, vertically aligned 1D rutile TiO2 nanorods (TNR) were deposited directly on FTO coated glass substrate by controlled hydrothermal route. The non-aqueous successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) technique was adopted for the synthesis of CdS quantum dots (QDs) sensitization. The synthesized CdS-TNR samples were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), High resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRTEM), micro-Raman Spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) etc. characterization techniques. These CdS-TNR samples were further used for their quantum dot sensitization (QDSSC) performance under visible light. The CdS-TNR photoelectrodes deposited at 40 SILAR cycles exhibits a photovoltaic performance shows VOC=0.423V and JSC=4.71 mA/cm2 with  0.65 % conversion efficiency.
