Efficient Oily Water Separation using Surface-modifiedChlorinated Poly(vinyl chloride) Membrane |
초록 |
There are many technologies to separate oily water such as gravity separating devices and evaporators. Among them, membrane processes are the most effective technology because of low cost and energy consumption. For oily water separation ultrafiltration(UF) membranes are usually more used than microfiltration(MF) membranes because UF membranes have higher oil/water rejection than MF membranes. However UF membranes have lower flux than MF membranes. If MF membranes can be modified with higher rejection they would give more energy-efficiency in oily water treatment. In this work, we modified CPVC microporous membranes to improve rejection using supramolecules. |
