Magnetic Nanotransducers Induces Cancer Cell Death through Magneto Mitochondrial Dysfunction |
초록 |
Mitochondria play a critical role in cancer cells' intrinsic death mechanism. The remarkable vulnerability of cancer cells to mitochondrial dysfunction enables the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Magnetic nano-transducers are used to kill cancer cells remotely by inducing mitochondrial malfunction. To increase cellular internalization and magnetic transmission, spindle-shaped iron oxide nanoparticles were produced. By stimulating a mitochondrial quality control process called mitophagy, magneto-mechanical transduction of nanotransducers in mitochondria increases cancer cell death. |
