제목 Graphene oxide aerogel using metal ion with deliquescence
초록 Graphene oxide (GO) is an oxygen-abundant material which enable it to have excellent hydrophilicity. Furthermore, the functional groups on GO are known to easily foam the ionic bonds with most metal ions. In this work, we present metal ions coordinated GO aerogel with hydro-stability that can capture the atmospheric moisture. The addition of metal ions having deliquescence can attract moisture in air. The GO aerogel coordinated metal ions prepared by freeze-drying process stores water in porous structure. The GO aerogel coordinated metal ions can capture moisture, just putting it in humid environment. The type and amount of metal ions have influenced moisture sorption capacity of the resulting GO aerogel. The large amount of metal ions increases the moisture adsorption capacity of GO aerogel irrespective of metal ion type. When the amount of metal ions is exceeds a certain range, the structure of GO aerogel is collapsed and reduced drastically the water storage capacity.
