Preparation of Gold/Iron Oxide-Silica Nanoparticles (Au/Fe2O3-Si NPs) for Multifunctional Molecular Imaging |
초록 |
Cross-sectional imaging techniques, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), play a major role in detecting tumors before surgery. However, such technique may fail to detect tumor. In this study, gold as CT agent and iron oxide as MRI probe were adapted for multifunctional molecular imaging. CT and MRI provide the best anatomic detail. We prepared Au/Fe2O3-Si NPs by in situ synthesis method using hydrolysis and condensation of triethoxyvinylsilane (TEVS) as the starting precursor and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES), after preparing metal nanoparticles respectively. And CT and MRI was performed after injection of Au/Fe2O3-Si NPs as contrast agents. |
