This study focuses on the synthesis of functional acetaminophen (AP) lmprinted biomaterials using mung bean starch (MBS), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), sodium benzoate (SB) as a crosslinking agent, glycerol (GL) as a plasticizer, and melanin (MEL) as a photothermal agent. The prepared AP imprinted biomaterials were characterized by FE-SEM, FT-IR, and then evaluated physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation at break, solubility, and swelling behavior. In addition, the phothothermal effect and AP release properties of functional biomaterials were evaluated with 808 nm NIR laser (1.5 W/cm2) irradiation. Results of AP release properties of functional biomaterials by NIR laser irradiation indicated that AP release rate of biomaterial with melanin was 1.2 times faster than biomaterial without melanin. Results of AP release using artificial skin indicated that AP release was increased by NIR laser irradiation for 21 min. |
