제목 Synthesis and properties of sodium styrene sulfonate/2-hydroxyl ethyl acrylate membrane
초록 Ion-exchange membrane has been developed in various industries because of unique property to have a high transport number for counter ions and wide applicability. In this study, copolymer for ion-exchange membranes was synthesized by solution polymerization. The NaSS have been widely studied because of containing their ion functional group, and the HEA was used for the crosslinking reaction because of having a hydroxyl groups. The ion-exchange membranes were prepared by crosslinking with HEA via the esterification reaction by sulfosuccinic acid as a crosslinking agent. The prepared membranes were characterized such as water uptake, ion-exchange capacity and electrical property.
