Wettability improvement of a fluoropolymer substrate by radiation-induced surface grafting |
초록 |
In this study, the surface modification of a fluoropolymer surface by radiation-induced surface graft polymerization was described to enhance the wettability. The fluoropolymer surface was activated by energetic ions, on the surface of which was thermally graft polymerized with sodium 4-stryene-sulfonate (NaSS). The resulting surface was investigated in terms of the grafting degree, chemical structure, surface morphology, and wettability. The experimental results revealed that the NaPSS was successfully graft polymerized on the fluoropolymer surface, which had a great effect on the wettablity of the fluoropolymer. |
