We were studied to effects of addition of oxygen and hydrogen in micro-algae medium. In this study, we were used to two micro-algae (Nannochloropsis oculata (N. oculata) and Chlorella vulgaris (C. vulgaris)). They are contained much lipid than the other micro-algae. For added to oxygen and hydrogen in medium, we were used to nanno-bubble oxygen and hydrogen water by korea atomic energy research institute. As a result, there was no different in the cell growth by added to oxygen and hydrogen. But, lipid, chlorophyll and carotenoid contents have different. Lipid contents of N. oculata and C. vulgaris was cell from control medium(f/2) higher than cell from oxygen and hydrogen added to medium. Chlorophyll and carotenoid contents of N. oculata was in oxygen and hydrogen medium higher than in control medium. Chlorophyll and carotenoid contents of C. vulgaris was in oxygen medium higher than in hydrogen and control medium. Since then, we would like to explore the bio-activity of using to oxygen and hydrogen medium by micro-algae culture. |
