제목 Fabrication and Characterization of Cu doped CeO2 Nano powders by a Solvothermal Process
초록 Cu doped CeO2 nanopowders were prepared under low temperature and pressure conditions by precipitation from metal acetate with aqueous ammonium hydroxide. Cu doped CeO2 nanopowders were obtained by reaction at the temperature range of 120℃∼180℃ for 2~10 h. The average size and size distribution of the synthesized particles were around 10 nm and narrow, respectively. The shape of the synthesized Cu doped CeO2 powders was spherical type.  The average specific surface area of the synthesized Cu doped CeO2 particles above 100m2/g.  The XRD diffraction pattern shows that the synthesized powders were crystalline. This study has shown that the synthesis of Cu doped CeO2 nanopowders is possible under solvothermal conditions in aqueous solution. The effects of synthesis parameters, such as the solvent ratio of starting solution, pH of starting solution, reaction temperature and time, are discussed.
