제목 Photovoltaic Properties of Dye-Sensitized Nanocrystalline Solar Cells Based on Quasi-Solid-State Electrolytes
초록 Dye-sensitized nanocrystalline solar cells (DSSCs) have been attracting widespread scientific and technological interest, owing to their high energy conversion efficiency and low production cost. However, presence of traditional organic liquid electrolytes in these cells has some problems such as a less long-term stability and a need for hermetic sealing. Moreover, the electrolyte loss caused by the volatility has been pointed out to be one of the major problems, which stays the durability of the DSSC low. This work approaches to employing a quasi-solid-state electrolyte to minimize the loss. In the DSSCs, Ru dye coated nanocrystalline TiO2 electrodes are casted with electrolytes and sandwiched with the Pt counter electrodes. A quasi-solid-state electrolyte containing ionic liquid and polymer matrix has been employed in DSSCs with an overall conversion efficiency of 5.0% as AM 1.5.
