제목 Controlled Release of Growth Factor from Nanohydrogel for Osteogenic Differentiation of Stem Cell
초록 For growth factor-induced differentiation of cells and regeneration of a tissue, a sustained release effect is important. Usually, an initial burst or a fast release of growth factor are not so effective for cell differentiation. We developed a novel method for controlled release system of growth factor using nanohydrogel and applied it to tissue engineering. Alginate nanohydrogels containing bone morphogenetic proteins-2 (BMP-2) were prepared by reverse emulsification-diffusion technique. The effects of BMP-2 released from alginate carriers on the differentiation of human bone marrow stromal cells (hBMSCs) into oesteogenic cells are confirmed by RT-PCR, ALP activity, alizarin-red staining and von kossa staining. The growth factor delivery using nanohydrogel is suggested to be a potential method to facilitate differentiation of stem cells in vivo.
