Nanostructured Polymers Under Pressure |
| 초록 |
Amphiphilic polymers with two distinct components jointed covalently often exhibit phase separation to yield thermally stable or metastable nanostructures that can be considered as crystal structures on a nanoscale. Here we focus on how those nanostructures are affected or changed by thermodynamic variables such as temperature and pressure. It is shown that adding pressure in our repertoire can expand our view of nanostructure formation and transitions between those structures, which is more apparent in self-assembled lipids or crystalline minerals. |
