Now, we are at a turning point to make the technical evolution without destroying Earth. Over the 3.8 billion years, nature makes the evolution as a result of adaptation to environment with maximal performance using minimal resources. “Nature-Inspired Technology” has led to effective algorithms, methods, materials, process, structures, tools, behavior, control, mechanisms, systems, and more. Especially, the nature inspired functional surfaces have great attention in industrial and research fields. In this talk, the definition of nature inspired technology and resent researches on nature inspired transparent superhydrophobic surfaces will be introduced to give the advances in surface engineering. |
