The modified FeS2 electrode is one of the most attractive and important research for developing high-performance lithium ion batteries (LIBs). In this study, FeS2 nanocrystals (NCs) were successfully synthesized through a facile, low cost and reproducible hot injection method and then the FeS2@C composite was obtained by annealing with glucose in a tubular furnace. The properties of as-synthesized FeS2@C NCs were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), raman shift, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The electrochemical properties of obtained FeS2@C comparing to bare FeS2 were enhanced as well as the electrical conductivity and structural stability were improved by carbon coating layer. |
