Electrochemical properties of anode support of SOFC using core-shell structured Ni-YSZ powder |
초록 |
Ni-YSZ cermet is the most popular material for the anode of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). The electrochemical characteristics of the cermet anode are determined by several factors such as the electrical conductivity (both electronic and ionic), the length of the triple phase boundaries, sufficient porosity and homogeneous morphology of cermet materials etc. In this study we tried to enhance the electrochemical properties of the Ni-YSZ anode by applying a high-speed mixing technique during a powder preparation process which provides Ni-YSZ core-shell structure. Two different anode-supported single cells using each Ni-YSZ core-shell powder and conventionally mixed one were fabricated to compare the electrochemical properties. Area-specific resistance (ASR) was measured via AC impedance spectroscopy and I-V characteristics were tested at 700 to 800°C. |
