제목 Change of Microstructure and mechanical property of nitrided 2205 duplex stainless steels by nitrate salt bath
초록 The change of microstructure and mechanical property was investigated after the salt nitriding of duplex stainless steel in this study. NaNO3 salt was used as a nitriding source from 500˚C to 650˚C for 1 to 8 hours, respectively. The salt is decomposed to generate nitrogen and oxygen over 450˚C. During the salt bath nitriding, decomposed nitrogen diffused to the surface of duplex stainless steel. Hardness, tensile stress and elongation were changed after salt bath nitriding of duplex stainless steel. The change of microstructure and microstructure were investigated by X-ray diffraction and EBSD. The contents of nitrogen were measured by Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry(SIMS).
