제목 Non-fullerene small molecule acceptors containing rhodanine end-groups for high performance OPVs
초록 Organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs) have been much developed due to potential as low cost renewable energy using infinite solar energy. Recently, high power conversion efficiencies (> 10%) have been reported using polymeric donors and small molecule acceptors but small molecule acceptors need further development. Furthermore, dye units of rhodanine have been much introduced as terminal electron-withdrawing groups onto the electron-rich backbone of fluorene, carbarzole, 4,9-dihydro-s-indaceno[1,2-b:5,6-b′]dithiophene, and 6,12-dihydro-dithieno[2,3-d:2′,3′-d′]-s-indaceno[1,2-b:5,6-b′]dithiophene to make high performance small molecule donor and acceptor materials. In this work, we synthesized non-fullerene small molecule acceptors containing dye end groups. The physical, optical, and electrochemical properties of the small molecules were studied herein together with the OPV fabrication.
