제목 Preparation and characterization of PLGA Nanoparticles and Nanohalf-shells contaning curcumin as hydrophobic model drug
초록 Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles and nanohalf-shells containing curcumin as hydrophobic model drug were prepared by O/W emulsion solvent evaporation method. Half-shell structures were prepared by adding poloxamer (F-127) to the organic phase containing PLGA 504H. PLGA nanoparticles and nanohalf-shells with different sizes were prepared by changing drug amount, surfactant amount and solvent amount. The examination of surface morphology and size distribution were performed by field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and particle size ananlyzer (PSA), respectively. Encapsulation efficiency was measured by HPLC Dependent on adding poloxamer (F-127) showed affected the encapsulation efficiency(EE%) of the half-shell. With the drug amount or the surfactant amount increasing, the size of the particle increased.
