Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles and nanohalf-shells containing sulphorhodamine B as hydrophilic model drug were prepared by W/O/W emulsion solvent evaporation method. Half-shell structures were prepared by adding poloxamer (F-127) to the organic phase containing PLGA 504H. PLGA nanoparticles and nanohalf-shells were prepared by using various factors. The field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), particle size ananlyzer (PSA) were used to study the morphology, particle size of the nanoparticle and nanohalf-shell, respectively. HPLC was performed to determine the encapsulation efficiency(EE%). The changing of the size was observed by dependent on surfactant amount or solvent amount. by adding poloxamer (F-127), the encapsulation efficiency(EE%) was improved. |
