Effect of O2 plasma treatment on electromagnetic interference shieldingproperties of polypyrrole-coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes |
초록 |
The polypyrrole-coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were prepared by template polymerization of pyrrole on the surface of MWCNTs in order to develop the novel electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials. The thickness of the polypyrrole coatings was controlled by changing O2 plasma treatment condition of multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The polypyrrole/MWCNT nanocomposites showed the significant increases in permittivity, permeability, and EMI shielding efficiency enough to be used as EMI shielding materials. The EMI shielding efficiency of nanocomposites increased up to 31 dB due to the synergetic effect of reflection and absorption of EMI by MWCNTs. |
