제목 Ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide by double metal cyanide catalysts prepared with new complexing agents
초록 Double metal cyanide complex catalysts are known to be extremely useful and active catalysts for the ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide. Highly active double metal cyanide complex catalysts are suitable for use in ring-opening polymerization reactions prepared by controlling the order of reagent addition, the temperature of the reaction medium, and the stoichiometric ratio of the reactants. In our study polymerization of propylene oxide (PO) have been carried out by using double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst prepared by reacting ZnCl2 and K3[Co(CN)6] in the presence of new complexing agent (CA) and previous co-complexing agents. The yielded polymers are analyzed by 1H NMR spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography. The unsaturation level and –OH value of the polymers were also determined by titrator.
