제목 Low band-gap, Solution Processable Oligothiophenes with Solubilizing β-alkyl groups for Organic Photovoltaic Cells
초록 Linear π-conjugated molecules based on thiophene and benzothiadiazole have been synthesized using the palladium-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction. The introduction of the solublizing β-alkyl groups greatly improved the solubility of oligothiophenes. The optical and physical properties of oligothiophenes were characterized by UV-visible, photoluminescence (PL), cyclic voltammetry (CV), 1H, 13C-NMR, and DSC measurement. The organic photovoltaic cells were fabricated using new oligothiophenes as the active layer with the configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS (40nm)/ active layer/ Al (100nm).
