제목 Substrate-free FET biosensors
초록 Recently, a lot of researches for the detection of biomolecules (such as DNA, RNA, and virus) have been progressed in order to protect human lives from a lot of diseases. There are several methods to detect biomolecules such as surface Plasmon resonance, optical measurements and so on. These methods, however, require multi-stage processes that are expensive and time-consumption. Moreover, these processes are impossible to do real time detection that is necessary for on-line monitoring. To overcome these disadvantages, an FET-based biosensor attracts attention which hase several benefit such as real-time detection, labeling free, mass production. In spites of these merits, an FET-based biosensor are fabricated on inflexible and brittle material such as silicon, glass wafer. These materials limit the range of environments in which the sensor can be successfully applied and has big packaging issues. Herein, we describe procedure to fabricate the substrate free FET-based biosensor utilizing microstructured semiconductor technology for detecting AI influenza virus. Doped silicon ribbons were transferred on plastic substrates using a microstructured semiconductor technique and an extended gate biosensor was fabricated. Finally, this devices was combined with microfluidic channel. From the results, we demonstrate the substrate free FET-based biosensor that detect antigen and antibody of AI influenza virus.
