Organic synthesis is a one of the central research theme in organic chemistry. Despite of various types of synthetic methods in organic synthesis have been developed so far, the environmentally safe methods utilized photocatalysts, in contrast with the classical organic synthesis, are being more important and it could be thought that it will be a key of synthetic protocols. Among various photocatlaysts, metal nanoparticles that can use the visible light region are mostly dispersed in a single phase either aqueous or organic liquid phase. It is a disadvantage that when the organic synthesis proceeded in a single liquid phase, the reaction yield was low and the scalability of reaction model is critically limited. To overcome this issue, we designed a catalyst that exists at the interface of aqueous-organic phase using controlled the solubility of the ligand. The dual dispersive photocatalystswas successfully synthesized by controlling the type, combination, and ratio ofthe ligands. |
