제목 | Development of a magnesium-mediated surface modification for the improvement of osteoblastic responses |
초록 | The surface property of biomaterials is one of the most crucial elements that determine the success of the material. In order to improve surface properties of a biomaterial, various attempts have been introduced. In this study, we introduce a newly developed surface modification method using magnesium in order to promote osteoblastic responses. The surface properties were examined using various analytical techniques, including SEM, EDX, FT-IR, and goniometer. In vitro cell assay revealed that cell responses can be enhanced. We expect that our method can be further utilized for the modification of various types of material surfaces.
