제목 Outdoor cultivation of Hematococcus pluvialis using a airlift polymer-type film photobioreactor
초록 Microalgae species can produce useful products and convert Carbon dioxide to Oxygen. Among these microalgae, Haematococcus pluvialis can produce Astaxanthin which is well known by its anti-oxidant effects. In this study, scale-up cultivation was conducted in 25 L medium culture to overcome the limit of former study and a polymer film-type photobioreactor was used for cultivation. The culture condition is 20~25℃, 0~300 μmol photon m-2 s-1 of light intensity. Under these condition, Haematococcus pluvialis accumulated 130 mg/L of astaxanthin in 76 days and the productivity was remarkably increased.
