Pigment yellow 180 (P.Y.180) is a benzimidazolone pigment which has been widely used in the fields of printing ink, plastics, color toner, and color filter, etc. P.Y.180 is a greenish to medium yellow shade pigment with excellent light fastness, heat resistance, and solvent resistance, etc. Cold coupling reaction was introduced. Various dispersion derivatives was added into starting mixture in the autoclave. After that, the mixture was grown at various solvents and temperature for the control of particle size and the improvement of dispersion property. It was found that paticale size, paticale shape and crystalline structure were controled at reaction factor such as time, temperature, various solvents. |
