Polyamide66 (PA66) has been attracting attention as a high functional material with excellent chemical resistance, toughness and strength. Especially, the composite with improved PA66 friction and wear properties by adding filler such as MoS2 is used in various application such as automobile and aviation. However, the low compatibility and dispersibility between polymer and filler has caused the decrease of the physical properties of composites and has been a problem to be solved. Therefore, various researches have been carried out to increase the compatibility and uniform dispersion to suppress the deterioration of physical properties. In this study, the surface modification of MoS2 was carried out to improve the compatibility and dispersibility of the polymer composite with MoS2 filler, and the properties are going to evaluate by FTIR, contact angle, BET, SEM, UTM and friction/wear test. |
