제목 Synthesis of PEG-modified urethane acrylate emulsion and their properties
초록 To prepare self-emulsifiable urethane acrylate, poly(ethylene)glycol (PEG)-modified-urethane acrylate (PMUA), containing polyoxyethylene chainsasa terminal group were synthesized by reaction of a residual isocyanate group with poly(ethylene)glycol (PEG). The structure of the synthesized PMUA was confirmed using by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). After PMUA was dispersed into water, physical properties were investigated by changing the molar ratio of poly(ethylene)glycol (PEG) and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (2-HEMA). Thermal properties of PMUA was investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA).
