제목 Fabrication of Nanomaterials from Amphiphilic Homopolymers and Block Copolymers
초록  Using anionic polymerization technique several amphiphilic homo and block copolymers were designed, synthesized, and their nanostructure in selective solvent were characterized. The amphiphilic homopolymer such as poly(2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine), poly(3-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine), poly(4-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine) formed micelles/vesicles as like block copolymer. The coil-coil block copolymer, PS-b-P2VP, and poly(2-vinylpyridine-block-2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine) (P2VP-b-PVPPy)  formed fascinating morphologies and act as template for metal nanoparticles formation. On the other hand, rod-coil type di- and tri-block copolymers, PHIC/P2VP, self-assembled into various nanostructures with extra ordinary packing depending upon solvent composition and molecular weight. Especially, well-defined polyisocyanates bearing reactive side group were also investigated in order to extend the range of functionalities. These polymers could be utilized for further modification reactions.
