제목 | Modulation of SEI layer derived from the lithium-ion solvation structure at the interface between the electrolyte-swollen polymer and P-doped g-C3N4. |
초록 | For the next generation battery, Lithium metal is the most promising candidate as the anode due to its high theoretical specific capacity(3860 mAh/g) and the lowest redox potential (-3.04V vs SHE). However, Li metal has the challenge that generates Li dendrite and results in low coulombic efficiency. To circumvent these issues, we developed the dual-lithiophilic interfacial layer (P doped g-C3N4) and it showed a drastic increase in cycling stability of the Li metal battery. Nevertheless, cell failure occurred due to electrolyte exhaustion at lean electrolyte conditions. In this presentation, we identify SEI characteristics modulated by Li-ion solvation structure at the interface between swelled polymer and PCN. Inorganic-rich SEI by highly anion-coordinated Li+ at PVDF-HFP/PCN interface decreases the galvanic and chemical corrosion of electrolyte and further increases the cycle life of Li/Cu cell at lean electrolyte condition. |
