Solubilization of poorly water soluble drug, Telmisartan using wet granulation & vitrification process |
| 초록 |
Telmisatan (TLM) has been reported to be useful for hypotensive agents. However TLM is BCS class ll drug with low water solubility and bioavailability. In this study, we have employed wet granulation and vitrification methods to improve water solubility of TLM. Wet granulation and vitrification’s TLM were analyzed for various properties such as like HPLC, SEM, FTIR, DSC, XRD and contact angle. The observed results showed that vitrification of TLM blended with PVP-K30 and HPMC K4 mcr can be potentially applied for sustained release formulation. |
