제목 Study on crosslinking reaction of various aqueous cellulose derivatives using divinyl sulfone as a crosslinker
초록 Cellulose discovered in 1838 by the French chemist Anselme Payen is an organic polymer with the formula (C6H10O5)n, is an important structural component of the primary cell wall of green plants, and is mainly used to produce paperboard and paper. It is also an almost inexhaustible source of raw material for the increasing demand for biodegradable products. In this study, various aqueous cellulose derivatives such as hydroxy ethyl cellulose, methyl cellulose and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose were reacted with divinyl sulfone to get crosslinked ones. Their thermal and physical properties were investigated.
