Enhancement of the antibacterial properties of Ag decorated graphene through sequential repetitive chemical growth of AgNPs |
초록 |
A sequential repetitive chemical reduction technique was performed on single solution of graphene with low concentration of Ag salt to grow Ag nanoparticles on graphene. It was confirmed that Ag nanoparticles with diameter ranging from 4nm to 50nm can be obtained via this synthetic approach. Antibacterial activity was investigated in the disinfection of Gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli) to demonstrate the practical applicability of the obtained composites. It was observed that the R3 sample exhibited the highest activity of all toward disinfection of bacterial due to its superior properties. |
