제목 One-pot Heterogeneous Catalytic Decarbonylation of Alcohols Using Supported PdO-doped on Silica Nanoparticle (PdO@SNP)
초록 Palladium oxide supported on silica nanoparticles (PdO@SNP) was successfully employed for the efficient heterogeneous decarbonylation of alcohols to generate valuable products at moderate temperature in absence of any co-catalyst. The transformation of 2-napthalenemethanol to napthalene was optimised and further the decarbonylation of various benzylic, allylic, hetero-atomic and aliphatic alcohols was accomplished with excellent yields and selectivity. The PdO@SNP nanocatalyst showed a high mechanical stability since no leaching was observed in the reaction vessel. The nanocatalyst could be recycled several times for the decarbonylation of 2-napthalenemethanol
