Nanogels have been widely studied for biomedical applications since they have advantages as hydrogel materials and the easiness of size control. In this study we synthesized pNIPAM based nanogels using N-isopropylacrylamide and acrylic acid as monomers and N,N´-methylenebisacrylamide as a crosslinker. We also examined different types of crosslinkers to control the size and degradation property of nanogels. After preparation of nanogels, they have been loaded with peptides (proteins) to examine the release profile for 4 weeks. The size, size trend depending on temperature, degradation profile, and morphology of nanogels were characterized by DLS and AFM. The release profile of peptides and proteins were examined with UV spectrometer and HPLC. |
