제목 Effect of chlorine dioxide on RO membrane performance in SWRO plants
초록 In general, ozone, chlorine, and chlorine dioxide are employed as disinfectants for biofouling control in the SWRO process. Although chlorine has been used as a traditional disinfectant, there have been concerns raised over its dosage due to the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs). In terms of the formation of DBPs, chlorine dioxide has attracted interest as an alternative to chlorine. In this study, the disinfection effect of chlorine dioxide on RO membrane was evaluated in terms of permeate flux, salt rejection, and membrane structural analysis.
