제목 Tuning Supramolecular Chirality Through Side Chian Engineering
초록 Chirality is one of the most important properties of three-dimensional chemical structures, and its significance has been widely recognized in the life science. In this research, we have demonstrated a systematic study on the supramolecular chirality and charge transport properties of PDIs with different bulkiness of side chains. The PDI derivatives with different alkyl chains exhibit different solubility and are fabricated into 1D nanomaterials by solution process. Interestingly, the supramolecular chiralities are quite unique due to the different self-assembly tuned by the N-substitution. All of these results demonstrate that the molecular modulation of organic semiconductors structure via fine-tuning of branched side chains can provide an effective approach to achieve chiral supramolecules and different optoelectronic performance and also aids in-depth understanding of structure-chirality-property relationships.
